Team Cosmic Pineapple | Honey Hustle

Lead producer on a game team for two semesters, making a 2D top-down shoot 'em up game. Team size grew from 8 to 14, including art, audio, design and tech departments, in a custom engine.
​
Responsibilities included managing deadlines, interpersonal relationships, productivity of departments, team morale, and team direction.

Further work done on the two-semester-long team project Honey Hustle as a designer.
Created pipeline tools for testing design elements in Unity while custom engine was being built. Largely implemented game play, but also included testing tools such as a custom heat mapping system using JSON serialization and deserialization.

Marble Rush Racer

Solo semester-long 2D project made in Unity. Focus of game play was a challenge mechanic that had achievement elements. Play as a marble dropping through a maze to reach the goal, collecting shiny collectibles on the way!
This rank-based game focused on having a save file using JSON serialization and deserialization to dynamically read time thresholds for each level and save player times, rank and score for viewing later.

Team Apathetic Apothecary | Chamomile Grove

Systems designer and producer for team of 14 working in Unreal Engine 4. Project spanned two semesters, and included all major departments including art, audio, design, and tech. Project is a 3D fantasy puzzle game that focuses on farming, crafting, and simple puzzle mechanics to deliver the fantasy engagement type.
​
Responsibilities included managing deadlines, communication pipelines, productivity of the team and the direction of the project. I personally worked on the crafting recipe balance and quest systems that supported this, as well as helped with the farming and economic system design.
